Tanzanite is a trichroic gemstone, that means up to 3 colors can be seen at once! Most tanzanite has been heated to bring out the purple color, this treatment also greatly diminishes the mermaid-esque qualities of this gem. This is one out of a very rare batch of old-stock tanzanite I secured, if you're looking for the perfect piece I have more in different colors!
This 2.5 ct gem has more of the blue/green coloring with purple around the edges. It glows and changes color with different angles. Great for wearing alone, layering, or for adding to your necklace charm stacks!
